Boris Makes A Splash


It’s difficult to resist a smile at the video clip that’s been doing the rounds showing London Mayor, Boris Johnson, falling over in a river in Lewisham where he was promoting a litter clean up campaign. One minute he’s smiling cheerfully at the camera, rubbish sack in hand, the next he slips backwards, bringing a hapless female volunteer with him into the freezing water. Despite his fall from grace, Boris picked himself up and made a joke of it. Love him or hate him, one can’t deny he’s a jolly good sport.
